What it does
Swipe each name right for present, left for absent. Auto-saves as you go — no "Save" button to forget. A class of 30 takes under 30 seconds. No codes to share and no logins to fake — you mark who is actually in the room.
No student logins, no app for thirty kids to download, no codes to hand out. You are the only person who ever touches Attenda — which is exactly why nobody resists it.
Student names and attendance records never leave your device. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Nothing for anyone to leak or lose.
Ten built-in reports — full summaries, at-risk students, group attendance rates, and 30-day trends. Export any of them to PDF or CSV. Ready for a parent conference or an admin question.
Pricing
Try Attenda free for 7 days. After that, $4.99/month or $39.99/year. One subscription, that's it.

Attenda doesn't run a server. There's no cloud sync, no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking. The roster is in your phone's local storage, nowhere else — there's nothing to leak even if someone wanted to.
Export anything to CSV or PDF when you need to share with parents or admin. And if Attenda ever shuts down, your data is still yours: it lives on your phone, not in our cloud.
FAQ
Not planned. Attenda is a paid app with a 7-day free trial — that pays for development without ads or data resale. If the price doesn't fit, the free teacher tools on AnchorKite cover some of the same needs.
All your groups, rosters, and attendance records live in your phone's local storage — the same place your photos and texts live. The app doesn't make network calls to send data anywhere. You can verify this by putting your phone in airplane mode: Attenda will still work perfectly.
Anything stored only on your phone is at risk if the phone is lost. Attenda lets you export your data to CSV or PDF at any time, and we recommend doing this periodically — say, at the end of each term. Some teachers email the export to themselves as a simple backup.
Yes. Export to CSV (for spreadsheets) or PDF (for printing or sharing with parents) any time, from any group's report screen. There is no premium tier — full export is included in the subscription.
Android first — Attenda is on Google Play now. There's no firm iOS date yet: getting iPhone hardware for proper testing and going through App Store review are both gating the iOS version. It's on the roadmap — check back or follow AnchorKite for updates.
Attenda is designed for any setting where someone takes attendance for a group: K-12 classes, college courses, after-school clubs, sports teams, scout troops, music ensembles, religious education classes. It doesn't tie itself to a specific gradebook, so it works across age ranges and contexts.
Attenda is a personal tool, not a replacement for your school's official records system. Many teachers use both: the school system for the official record, Attenda for the moment of actually taking attendance — because school systems are usually clunky for in-class use. Transfer totals over at the end of the day.
