One thing, done well.
Each app does a single job and gets out of the way. Fewer features means more attention to the ones that matter.
An independent software company
AnchorKite builds small, considered software. One app at a time — and only when it's ready.
01 · About
AnchorKite is independent, focused, and in no hurry. The work is the point — not the volume of it.
The company takes on one app at a time. Each one solves a real problem for a specific kind of person — not a category, not a market segment, a person. The goal is fewer things, made better.
There's no roadmap to impress investors and no quarterly cadence to hit. An app ships when it's right, and the next one starts when there's something worth building.
02 · Products
One app at a time, named for who it's for.
Two more apps in development for 2026. They'll appear here when they're close to ready. In the meantime, AnchorKite also publishes a small library of free browser-based tools.
03 · The approach
A few principles the company keeps coming back to.
i.
Each app does a single job and gets out of the way. Fewer features means more attention to the ones that matter.
ii.
Software gets sharper when you know exactly who it's for. Every product names its audience before it names itself.
iii.
No accounts where they're not needed. No ads. No telemetry that doesn't earn its place. The product asks for as little as possible.
iv.
Not before. Deadlines are useful; arbitrary ones aren't. The work tells you when it's done.
