Your own packs
Every pack you make is free. There's no limit.
Your notes, your class, your exam. Make as many packs as you like, then study them just like the built-in ones.
Paste a list
Copy from a spreadsheet, a CSV or your notes, and each line becomes a card.
Generate them with any AI
Describe the cards you want and Pensara writes the prompt. Send it to ChatGPT, Gemini or any other AI app you use, then paste the answer back to bring the cards in. AI can get facts wrong, so check them before you study.
How it works
A few minutes a day. The app keeps the schedule.
Make a pack
Build your own in a few minutes, or start with a built-in pack.
Flip, then quiz yourself
Flip through the cards to learn them, then answer a quiz to test what stuck.
Come back tomorrow
Your daily review quiz brings back the cards you're about to forget, plus new cards each day.
Inside the app
Quiet on the study screen. Rewarding everywhere else.
Swipe for more screens.
What it does
More ways to study than flipping cards.
Spaced repetition
A daily review quiz of what you're about to forget, plus up to 10 new cards a day.
Study games
Speed Round for 60 seconds, Survival for three lives, and Match to clear six pairs. Best scores are kept for every pack.
Multiple-choice quizzes
A quiz for every pack, built from its own cards.
Works with no connection
Your packs live on your phone, so you can study on the bus, on a plane or in a basement classroom.
Streaks, XP and medals
Level up from Novice to Sage, collect 18 medals, and take each deck from New to Mastered. Streak freezes are earned by studying, never sold.
A daily goal and a reminder
Set your own goal. The optional reminder is scheduled on your phone, with no server involved.

There is no Pensara account and no Pensara server for your cards. Your packs and progress are stored on the device, and AnchorKite never receives them.
The app only goes online to buy a pack or restore a purchase. Your app store takes the payment, and RevenueCat confirms it using a random, anonymous ID. Read the Pensara privacy policy for the details.

Questions
Before you start.
Is Pensara on iPhone?
Coming soon. Pensara is on Google Play for Android phones today, and the iPhone version is on its way. This page will link to it when it ships.
Does Pensara work offline?
Yes. Every pack ships inside the app, and studying, games and your own packs all work with no connection. You only need a connection to buy a pack or restore a purchase.
How does the spaced repetition work?
Your daily review is a short quiz. Pensara uses each answer to decide when to show the card again, sooner for the ones you missed. Each day's review holds the cards you're about to forget, plus up to 10 new ones.
Can I make my own flashcards?
Yes, for free and with no limit. Type cards in by hand, or paste a list from a spreadsheet, a CSV or your notes. You can also generate cards with ChatGPT, Gemini or any other AI app: Pensara writes the prompt, you send it, then you paste the answer back. Pensara never contacts that app itself.
Is there a subscription?
No. Nine packs are free, your own packs are free, and the other nine packs are one-time purchases of $0.99 each in the US. Pensara Plus unlocks all of them, plus every pack added later, for one payment of $9.99. Your app store shows your local price.
What if I lose my phone?
Your cards and progress live only on your phone, so Pensara has no copy to restore. Your phone's own device backup may include them if you have it turned on. Packs you bought and Pensara Plus come back with Restore Purchases in Settings.
